As a state-of-art asphalt manufacturing process controlling system, third generation AmoControl is a profitable part of a modern production plant. This scalable and flexible system is based on Simatic PCS7, a future-oriented process control system and a component of Totally Integrated Automation.

System architecture

Its conception and architecture enable you to operate a plant cost effectively over the entire life cycle from planning, engineering, commissioning, training to operation and maintenance. The flexible system architecture enables specific extension of process control functions through seamless integration of extensive supplemental functionality.

The process control hardware consists of rugged type industrial standard components, supplied by the world´s leading manufacturers. All interfaces comply with international standards. The system utilizes an industrial grade PC with keyboard and color monitor, a Siemens programmable logic control system and an uninterruptable power supply unit (UPS). Ethernet local area network enables easy connection of various optional devices, such as remote computer terminals, truck weigh bridges and wireless truck identification devices.
