Cold Feeders

Correctly proportioned, smooth and trouble free aggregate feed ensures good conditions for obtaining high quality asphalt mix. The aggregates can be proportioned automatically or by manual regulation by the operator. The output of each hopper belt can be regulated separately or all belts simultaneously.

Construction

Basic components of Amomatic feeders include protective grizzlies on all silos, handrails on top of the silo and guards  for work safety. The shape of the hoppers efficiently eliminates bridging of material. All hopper belts are equipped with guiding walls and with an aggregate flow/no-flow indicator. Vibrator is as standard for the fines aggregate hopper.

The feeder unit can be equipped for operation in temperatures below zero by using electrical heating elements, winter covers etc.
