AMOMATIC Asphalt Mix Storage Silos
 In
the design of Amomatic storage silos, special attention has been
given to preventing segregation of the asphalt mix. Silos, of
either round or square cross-section, can be delivered with a
variety of equipment and accessories.
Where asphalt is stored for an extended period, the silo hopper
can be equipped with a heating system and the silo filling opening
can be equipped with a lid. The silo discharge gates incorporate
a heating system as a standard feature. Drive-speed controlled
skip cars enable high production efficiency. Also when the asphalt
mixture is stored in several silos, the speed of a skip car can
be regulated to the optimal speed in both directions.
A common feature of all Amomatic silos is the modular, compact
construction, which makes them extremely reliable and easy to
erect.
